About the Integrated Care Psychiatric Consultant Learning Collaborative
The University of Washington is excited to welcome Psychiatric Consultants to our Integrated Care Learning Collaborative. The CME-approved Learning Collaborative is designed to provide additional support to psychiatric consultants to deliver integrated care and Collaborative Care in community-based settings.
The one-hour Learning Collaborative sessions are offered once a month via videoconference, with a short didactic presentation followed by questions and discussion on a variety of integrated care topics. Sessions are held on the second Tuesday of the month from 12:00 – 1:00 pm.
The four main aims of the Learning Collaborative are to:
- Create a statewide learning collaborative that provides support to psychiatric consultants (MDs, DOs, ARNPs, and PAs) that are currently engaged in an integrated care or Collaborative Care practice.
- Build upon psychiatric consultants’ prior integrated care training and/or experience by further developing their skills in delivery of effective integrated care.
- Target a current gap in integrated care efforts in Washington State by promoting sustainability through longitudinal support for practicing psychiatric consultants in their integrated care programs.
- Assist Washington State psychiatric consultants in building a support network, especially in remote and underserved areas of Washington.
