Profile: Briana Pardo, MSN, ARNP, PMHNP-BC

Briana Pardo earned her degree from Gonzaga University in Spokane, Washington. She practices at Family Health Centers, a rural Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) in Okanogan County, Washington, where she provides behavioral health care to patients across the lifespan. She leads grant-funded programs, with an emphasis on improving access to substance use disorder treatment, reducing stigma, and preventing overdose deaths. Beyond clinical practice, Briana works closely with the Okanogan County Sheriff’s Office Behavioral Health Unit to support the Mental Health Field Response Program.

Special interests include co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders, equitable access to care, correctional healthcare, trauma-informed care, and improving access to culturally responsive care for Native American Communities.

Goals for participation in the Integrated Care Training Program include strengthening the ability to provide collaborative, integrated care in a region with very limited psychiatric services. Over the next five years, she hopes to help build the Behavioral Health Department into a trusted resource for primary care providers and other clinicians in the community. Where providers feel supported when navigating complex psychiatric presentations in high-need populations.
