Nichole Maldonado, ARNP currently works at Comprehensive Healthcare, a community mental health organization, as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner in both outpatient and inpatient settings. As an outpatient provider, I care for patients ages twelve and older through both in-person and telehealth visits. I provide psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and hospital discharge follow-up appointments to ensure continuity of care. I also collaborate closely with interdisciplinary treatment teams, meeting weekly to discuss patient care and coordinate treatment plans. One weekend each month, I provide coverage on the child and adolescent evaluation and treatment inpatient unit, where I complete admissions, manage acute psychiatric care, and make treatment adjustments as needed.
