Profile: Catherine McCall, MD

Catherine McCall, MD is a current sleep medicine fellow at the University of Washington. She received her MD at Wake Forest School of Medicine, and then completed training in psychiatry at the Harvard Medical School Longwood program affiliated with Brigham and Women’s Hospital, Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, and Massachusetts Mental Health Center. She also completed a one-year fellowship in psychoanalytic psychotherapy at the Boston Psychoanalytic Society and Institute.
Dr. McCall’s research and clinical interests include the management of sleep disorders in patients with psychiatric comorbidities including mood disorders, anxiety, and post-traumatic stress disorder. She believes that collaboration between primary care, mental health, and sleep providers is important for the appropriate management of these complex patients.
