Stephanie Black trained as an osteopathic physician at Touro University in Las Vegas and completed her undergraduate in Biology and Chemistry at University of Utah in Salt Lake City. She completed her general psychiatry residency through the University of Washington, spending two years in Seattle and two years in Montana. She has a strong interest in working with populations challenged by societal stigma and is passionate about delivering excellent, evidence-based care for substance use disorders and behavioral addictions. She also has an interest in forensic psychiatry with a desire to address complex ethical, legal, and societal dimensions of mental health. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her dog and getting outdoors.
