Megan Riddle, MD, PhD, MS received a Master’s in Biology from Western Washington University and her MD and PhD at Weill Cornell Medical College. She is currently completing her third year of residency and will be chief resident at Harborview Medical Center next year. She has a long-standing interest in eating disorders. Her PhD in neuroscience focused on a basic science approach to understanding the connection between diet restriction and anxiety as a contributor to the development of eating disorders. She currently does research on the relationship between functional gastrointestinal disorders and eating disorders and has developed an eating disorder curriculum for the residency program and medical students that she teaches. Her long term interests include developing an integrated care approach to eating disorders.
